The first sync features are currently included in the smasi App as a beta/preview version, allowing you to synchronize collections between different devices.

Sync options

Your data is always processed and finally saved on your local device. You can transfer your modified collections to other devices via synchronization. Each individual collection can be synchronized individually, while the collection is always transferred acompletely.

This means that every synchronized device contains the complete collection, which increases availability and data security. The selected sync service is only used as an exchange platform. The following services are currently supported:

Note: You can already try out these new sync features in the current beta test phase. Improvements will be implemented regularly as updates. Please report any issues directly to info@2s-software.com. Thank you!

Whether and in what form other services such as Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive can be offered will be reviewed at a later date and added to the smasi app if possible. To make sure you don't miss any updates, simply subscribe to the newsletter now.

Synchronize individual collections

With the current app, the entire collection is transferred and different versions of a collection cannot be merged today.

Therefore, make sure that you do not make changes on different devices in a collection at the same time!

Tip: If necessary, you can set the collection to 'Read Only' on a specific device to prevent conflicts due to double-sided changes. You can set write protection using the 'Rename' command.
